What an enchanting and refreshing performance from Benson, Jacobs, Young, Ozorkwo and many wonderful others! After watching this movie as a whole - parts 1 and 2, I had to rewind to really pay more attention to the brains behind its shooting and production - apart from the actors.
For a 2005 movie, this is amazing, inspiring and powerfully enthralling in terms of story, dialogue acting, production and concept. From this kind of 2005 breath-taking excellence in quality story, acting and production of international standard, one would have thought that Nigerian movies will be getting better this 2008; but sometimes, it seems they take seven steps forward and twelve steps backward.
Heartily, my prayer is that Nigerian movies can keep up with this kind of excellence in movie quality; and take their cinematographic creativity to the next superb level this twenty-first century. By GOD'S grace I trust they will succeed with the kind of smart, creative people Nigeria's movie industry is endowed with.
Honestly, this is really as very good as it gets. This "Women in Power" movie really took acting, performance and film production to the next level. I always like to watch any movie with Liz Benson as a character; and this time one got one's money's and time's worth.
This movie excellently handled its subject matter of women empowerment and gender equality without destroying the reality of family as the building block and foundation of societies across the world.
Actually, let me humbly give this movie an Alpha [A] mark. In terms of Izogn Movies rating option, I'll give it four stars instead of five; only because of this parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and even 6 unprofessional reality weighing down Nigeria's movie industry.
I proudly recommend this movie to anyone interested in seeing Nigerian movies at their very best, smart quality generally. What a story! What a performance! What an enchanting, quality production!

Both parts 1 and 2 were good. It shows how the arrogant are brought down lower than the dust.

This movie made me laugh. The funniest scenes were those concerning pauline and her husband. Depending on your personal outlook this movie can go either way. What is the role of a "good wife?" Is it so horrible if gender roles are tossled up a bit? This movie attempts to explore some of these questions. Four years of marriage without a child? Why is that poor Agatha's fault alone? What's wrong with being independent and sleeping with your teddy bear if you so choose. LOL. Lots of subplots but have to say that as a woman I felt a bit insulted by some of the suggestions presented by the so called resolutions in the film. Patience Ozokwor was superb in this movie.
