difficult film- I oscillated between 3 and 4 stars. the film starts slowly but evolves into a gripping psychodrama with intrigues of injustice involving a horribly abusive man, his young wife and a psychiatric doctor who is complicit in her detention. dual storylines showcase the moral transition in a young man ---from his antics with an older woman to his rescue of a victim of abuse. quite enthralling- hope it pans out successfully in part 2
