“I WATCHED THIS MOVIE MANY YEARS AGO,AND IT IS STILL AS FRESH IN MY MEMORY AS THOUGH I WATCHED IT ONLY YESTERDAY. I GUESS THAT IS THE STUFF GREAT MOVIES ARE MADE OF. GREAT STORYLINE,GREAT CAST,GREAT ACTING. I WONDER WHY THE LEAD ACTRESS IN THIS MOVIE QUIT ACTING, I THINK SHE IS INCREDIBLY TALENTED. SAME WITH RMD I LEARNT HE TOOK A GOVERNMENT JOB OR IS HE STILL ACTING?”

“Much efforts have obviously been put into the making of this movie but if you ask me i will say i really do not like the movie. With the international attention that Nollywood has attracted, i believe our movies should be a reflection of our culture and values; all these "sayeth", "shalth", stone age costume, execution by stoning are not a reflection of our culture either in the now or immediate past. The movie whips up undue sentiments and it is lacking in substance. Quality acting i must concede.”

“Much as i would like to agree with the reviews this movie has attracted i think something is missing here; the woman who desperately sought forgiveness never came out clean to the husband. There was no time she said the truth.At first she said that was her first time of seeing the man, secondly she said she did not sleep with him. She never said the truth which i think is the first evidence of repentance. To that exent i refuse to blame the man because if you seek forgiveness you must come clean otherwise you might repeat the act in the future. I think the man went too far to have cast a spell on her though.”

“Good movie, but issues do not get so easily resolved in life as portrayed in the movie. Most people do not get as lucky as kunle and labake who were able to prove their innocence through sheer providence.They carry such negative labels all their lives. Labake's mother's yoruba is very rich.”

“The relevance of this movie to our national life can not be over emphasized. In this age where the rat race for wealth has reached an overwhelming proportion, and unimaginable compromises are made in other to attain positions of honour, movies such as this would serve as a reminder that contentment in life is the only key to rest of mind.Promotion comes from God and not by scheming or satanic manoeuvres”

“The message of this movie is well understood and appreciated, but what i find offensive is the supposed curse of Ajanlekoko by a goat as a result of maltreatment. I consider it an assault on our sensibilities, and a wrong way of passing a good message”
