“ For those who have never seen the original, this might be considered really good entertainment. But the truth is that the storyline was directly stolen (as so often) from the Indian Bollywood hit called Chori Chori Chupke Chupke (2001). What a pity the director was too lazy to read the criticisms of that hit...or he might have learnt many people asked, "ever heard of artifical insemmination?". Why choose a prostitute? Why move in together even when you were still trying to conceive? All so implausible unless you were trying to create a polygamous set up. So many story loopholes but if you suspend your brain for a while and ignore those horrible flaws, then the film makes a good watch though so so so far from reality.

“lamentable film. "lessons" encased in a daft storyline and poor acting. Lots of Screaming and shouting if thats what you like.”

“Good movie with suspense, convincing acting and a twist. redemptive power comes through here. Despite some flaws, this is a good watch.”

“really engaging film. Good story although nothing new but very intense- the climax fizzled out disappointingly...in reality forgiveness does not come that easy after so much suffering.”

“Hit the fast forward button on this one. A story might be somewhere in here but if so its completely drowned in relentless and tedious noise, shouting and fights. Perhaps the tale and reason for this mayhem will eventually unfold in part 2- but after part 1, I won't take the gamble. ”

“Outstanding - I could not stop till the credits: tension, love, romance, nuance etc etc. I had no idea how the story would /could end: it seemed impossible to have a satisfactory ending, yet the writer plumbed human anger, pain and capacity for generous loving so well. Kudos- this guy Muyiwa Ademola - I think is his name has a capacity for spinning a tale and acting it well too. ”

“compelling film and good acting- worth the watch. Plus an intriguing storyline with some light suspense. But whew- sometimes you just wish our actors/tresses can take some lessons in pronounciation or just speak Igbo/Yoruba/Hausa with subtitles. Its fine when they are portraying rustic villagers, but tough to take when a supposed "sophistocrat" throws about words like "bodder" (meaning 'bother'), "dat" (that) and with a fake American accent too. aargh
Otherwise- Kudos to the Director and Cast. Enjoyable film”

“This film left me struggling for meaning. Its different parts were occasionally worth watching, but at the end- you are left asking yourself: "did I just waste a couple of hours watching that?"- what was it all about? I still have no idea. The writer and director had a journey in mind- but no discernable road map. ”
