Review of Unfaithful

“an adaptation of course from Hollywood. But some good acting. But while this is meant to explore the heart and its secrets, I could have done without the wasted hour spent hearing the same track played over and over again 100 times) while the actors sighed and groaned, meditated in silent despair. Just tedious.. aaahh- next scene please !!! Seriously - the film could have been cut in half. But hey still worth the watch- just hold the FWD button.”

“In brief, the film revolves around 2 sisters, Fadeke and Fadewe, who share a loving bond and experience pain, love, joy and an unexpected betrayal. The beauty is that the film maker does not give us the usual frustrating tradition of having one female betray another. A synopsis cannot easily capture the good performance, twists and suspense that makes this an enjoyable film. ”

Review of My Desire Part 2

“Interesting- slow moving but fairly entertaining.
Naija filmmakers need to stop absolving men of all blame. yes, there was a poisonous girlfriend, but few would deny the equal betrayal by her man. So a good slap and some hard times would seem merited for his actions too. One gets fed up with the girls can't wait to forgive all and melt in a guys arms scenario. But anyone notice the particularly ugly cap on the baby's head? bright orange and not at all suited to the elite, wealthy couple illusion. ”

Review of 100% Husband

“There should be a zero rating for stupid films like this. A cliche ridden old old story of a bewitched husband, controlled by his evil mother in law, a juju man and his faithless wife. The story is slow, boring and drawn out to extend to 2 parts when it should be a 20 minutes school drama. Until our society drops the old tale of men refusing to accept responsibility for their actions and blaming the most repugnant acts on the results of juju, we will be stuck with meaningless and ugly films like this. The plot was implausible and the acting completely spiritless, the actors seemed like they needed to speak Igbo or Yoruba to get into the mood. 20 minutes of watching a woman turn insane on the street? Just hang onto your fastforward button folks. ”
