“not impressed. The abrupt ending is abominable as the film goes into part 3 & 4 for a film that simply peddles a bundle of ethnic and gender stereotypes. 2 idiotic screeching women fighting over a witless man. Get a real script writer please.”

“good vision but the execution is limp as boiled spinach- full of nutrients but flaccid. A weak script spoils things (e.g why have a 31 year old female claim to have had over 100 abortions? (simple maths suggests approximately 10 a year since she was 21? hmm) The film certainly did not need 2 parts but :ah well- a happy ending to a tale of a preaching man tortured, abused and humiliated in marriage by his older controlling lying pseudo-religious wife”

“3 stars for the unbelievable plot. Can a brother dying of cancer really claim that he has enough energy left to sleep with your wife, rather than just place his sperm in a turkey baster? So IVF takes too much time, but making sure the womans ovaries are in place doesnt? Can you really look at your brother with a straight face as he claims the natural way is the best way for him to impregnate your wife? HAHAHAHAH i say and HAHAHAHAH again. And oh the best part...having your brother sleep with your wife is better than adoption? indeed. I can smell this plot twist coming a mile away.”

“4 stars for the misunderstanding that led to a plot twist. and 4 stars for the lovely outfits.
However, i detract one star for the ridiculous dialogue at the end. "no one can resist sex"? how can that be true? people resist it all over the world for various reasons. if you thought your partner had a deadly disease, would you still not find a way to resist it? what if you were told you would die right afterwards? im sure he could resist it then. so spare us the weak excuse so many men like to use. 'body no be wood' tis true, but humans are not animals. we have thoughts and can control ourselves. as for the woman who stole someone elses husband and is'content' to be a second wife. ha. i still dont see why she just couldnt find someone else.
true love does not include cheating. i like the point the mother makes. she used no juju or anything. that man wasnt forced to cheat. he did it of his own volition. not once, not twice. but many times over the months! maybe one can forgive a momentary lapse...but not this case. not only did he continue, he also relished in continually lying to his wife. his was not the case of repentance once confronted, but unabashed shameless lying. it clearly wasnt even about the sex because he could easily get that from his wife.
yes...we get it. the wife was trusting. but being trusting doesnt mean you want your husband to cheat on you. we all do it, when we are happy, we want the world to know. silly yes. but not enough to infer that she 'deserved' to be cheated on the way the film producers would have us believe.
i cant help but think that this movie, like so much of nollywood, is too light on the cheating husband and places the blame on the cheated on wife. Yet, if it were the reverse in nollywood...we'd never see the husband forgiving the wife. never. rather, the final scene would show her leaving the house with a bag on her head”

“3 stars because the chief still ends up not finding love. 3 stars because the chief really believes that money can buy love yet never fails to be surprised at the type of women he gets. first he rejects a woman because she is fat, despite his own size issues, then rejects a girl because she is razz and another because she is old. i hate to say this...but who says 'beggars' can be choosers?
and why did they keep referring to the asian woman as white? i understand calling her an oyinbo...but not calling her white. for geez sake. the woman is asian (albeit obviously mixed!)”

“Osita Iheme really gets into the role of a man whose search for a wife has been hampered by his size. He really captured the overly wealthy stereotype of a chief perfectly and for that i give it 4 stars. I take fault with the constant flashbacks in sepia tones (is that the only color the cameraman could find)? I also thought it quite funny that his idea of a family was a wife who would call him MASTER and children who he would take delight in beating every day. onto part 2”

“I think this movie was wonderful not so much for the main characters...but for the other pastor. the money stealing, prosperity gospel wanna be pastor. His role had me smiling constantly. He really showed the issue now of people wanting to get rich quick through exploiting the faith of others. he also served as nice comedy relief for an otherwise very serious film. ...does anyone know his name?
now onto part 2.”
