“This script is so absurd that the acting can't even make up for it. I thought this movie showed promise initially until it devolved into the typical Yoruba movie script - somebody please sleep with my husband to have a baby for me because I am barren. What? Have Nigerians never heard of adoption? To watch these movies, you would think that 50% of Nigerian children must have been born under obscene arrangements to cover up childlessness! And someone still has to explain to me how the rising CEO of a mega company, who by the way loves and respects her father very much, and knows (or should know) that her sister is no good, will risk everything to agree to a stupid arrangement like this for a sister she has barely known, and has not been close to all her life. Definitely count me out of parts 3 & 4. I would rather watch movies that make sense.”

“As usual for Nigerian movies, this movie drags. Yes, the acting is good but a lot of the scenes between Omotola and her husband could have been done in half the time. Let's hope the other part gets better.”

“This is an excellent movie! Very well written and directed, and an excellent cast. Not at all the typical Nigerian movie storyline. And for the fact that it ended in one part, I would have given it 10 stars if could.”

“Awesome movie. I love the fact that this movie did not have a typical nollywood ending where Kate Henshaw and Desmond Elliott would have ended up together. Good stuff. Highly recommended.”

“Okay, y'all have got to be kidding me! I kept waiting throughout this movie for something to happen! I could have watched the first five minutes, and the last five minutes, and still gotten the entire story. If you are looking at these reviews to decide whether to buy this movie, here is a summary - grandmother brings up her two grandchildren because dad is irresponsible, grandma has cancer, family struggles to raise money for surgery, family finds money (after two excruciating hours of crying), father repents. THere you have it, use your money for something else.”

“Someone needs to explain to me the reason why this movie is rated so highly. Did the producer pay some people to review it? As far as I am concerned NOTHING has happened in part 1. If part 2 is as slow and boring as this, then I just wasted money that I should have spent on Starbucks.”
