I rarely give any movie 5 stars, but I think this one put together - Parts 1 & 2 - truly deserves a 5 star. Very interesting.

nice job. the part 2 was MUCH more interesting than the part 1. i must say i was heartbroken when Donald gave in to his new wife. i also have to give kudos where due to the realist love scenes in the film. for once, here was a romance that is believable. with that said, Isong could try hard not to make lines as wordy as they are...phrases like "isnt life so sweet" just arent that commonly used. I understand that emem is trying hard to make more intelligent dramas and i appreciate that. i just dont think intelligence should outweigh reality.
Funniest scene - The "he studies demography" line. had me rolling!
Best Actor - Genevieve - she remains extremely natural even when given wordy lines.
Best Point - petty trading is an option instead of prostitution. thanks for highlighting that emem!

very good movie and ending...Someone mentioned something about not letting your emotions control u....however ppl are different everywhere....Not everyone could have made the same decision you did by facing reality and stay with someone they didnt love. Remember that some things are not meant to be. He could have been sensible and stayed with her yes, but her life and his would have been miserable...ust my 2 cents...It was an awesome ending. Doesn't alays work like that, but great all the same :)

This is a good movie, I could not stop crying because it was like they ripped chapters from my life story, even until the end, i could have written a better script. One thing is sure... even though the saying goes, "if you can't be with the one you love, love the one u're with"...but it feels so damn good to be in back in the arms of the one u love and get to be there forever

Very nice and interesting movie, this is my kind of movie loved the stroyline from the cast, though the storyline is noting new but the performance from the cast, makes it a good movie. Very entertaining to watch i enjoyed every part of it, my girl genny did her thing, desmond also did well, what can i say about patience is a good actress i loved her character in the movie, she played a different role from her usual.

Great movie... Wonderful casting and a fantastic portrayal of emotions by Desmond Elliot and Genny.
Desmond Elliot did it for me in this movie and has finally won me over as a fan. Well scripted movie and directed very well...
Fave quote in the movie has to be by Olive after Nnamdi tells her that she can take the horse to the river but can't make it drink ...
"Well watch me make history, because this horse is certainly going to drink" . Nice one!

I appreciate all the reviews everybody has written concerning this movie, but let us ask ourselves must she marry Nkem at all cost? To me the movie would have been more beautiful if she had sticked with his wife afterall his wife has everything a man wishes for in a woman. Their are some things in life you just have to let go else it will destroy lots of things. If you asked me who really was selfish in this movie I would say it was Desmond Eliot (Eze in the film). We should not allow our emotion to cloud our reasoning. The ability of a man to control his emotion is what makes a man. Let me quickly give you my life story as an example. When I was in Nigeria there was this lady I was madly in love with.When I said "madly in love" I mean in love. Although that time I was actually keeping two ladies but I loved the one I mentioned above so much the only reason I was still hanging around with the other one was because I met her first and I wanted to be diplomatic in quiting the relationship. As fate will have it I played America Visa lottery with the one I didn't love or better still she played it on my behalf and we won. At first I hated the idea just because I was in love with someone else but If I should follow my emotion another oppotunity might not come my way again. If you must know I came from a humble home. To cut the story short we got to America and we started living together as husband and wife. It was hard for me at the beginning but guess what with time I developed (Mark the word DEVELOPE. You can develope love) a love no man has ever had for any woman on the face of the earth. We have changed a lot of lives including the lady I claimed to love in Nigeria for good. Just because I used my head instead of following my emotion. Through ups and downs of America she sticked with me like a plague. When the going was so hard she never for once considered the alternatives. Our lives has been a blessing to so many people in Nigeria. I always say something to her that the best relationships in life always start with wrong motives.
So back to the movie.Although the cast are good and perform excellently well but what I want veiwers out there to know is that most times our emotion lead us astray. Let us cultivate the habit of using our head to think not only of what is happening right now but what might happen in the future. And as we do our thinking let us consider people around us our actions has a way of affecting so many lives
