this movie was good and also so sad. Loved the going back in time scenes and the costmes for them were amazing. the death scene was really really wierd though and not properly explained. otherwise awesome movie. you may cry tho. Oh and the daughter speaks very terribly. someone needs to take that child to a language school.

I AM SO GLAD!!! AS THIS HAPPENS IN REAL LIFE. AS HARD AS IT IS TO IMAGINE. A MOVIE SUCH AS THIS IS FINALLY MADE TO SHED SOME LIGHT INTO REALITY. THIS THING IS BIG IN ALL CULTURES, BUT FATHER ARE THE ONES SLEEPING WITH THEIR OWN BIOLOGICAL DAUTHERS. I HAVE DEFINITELY HEARD OF MOTHERS DOING THIS AS WELL.
I SEE THIS BEYOND MOVIE MAKING, BUT REALLY, REALLY AS A DOSE OF REALITY.

Yes my dear, this was a very disturbing for me. Nigerian producers have come up with several interesting scripts but this? waooooooooooo. Is this even possible? I never thought so until I watched this movie. Must watch part 11 now even though I am late to work. Sacriledge

Includes a phenomenal recreation of 1960s/70s fashion, hairstyles, technology, attitude, a new born babe who really looks within the first few days of birth. Outstanding make-up artistry and aging of the actors. Flashback sequences are often dreary but the past is so well performed that it draws us into wishing to understand the mystery behind a painfully devastated woman. The story is possibly “Slave to Lust” in reverse with a more nuanced story and with outstanding, but occasionally overdramatic performances. The story exaggerates life’s coincidences but the message is clear. Clearly, our sins stretch icy hands through the generations but can end with a note of redemptive hope.
