leo, after reading your review which gave me instant headache, I decided to watch the movie, however, i had to stop in the middle and ask myself. How can a village of people be so wrong? This movie???????????????? I have no idea what happened at the end but it is not interesting at all. And I am an authority in this matter oh.

Iwalewa is a simply classic movie. A breath of fresh air. Highly rich semantics, deep story treatment, outstanding dramaturgy, suspenseful plot structure, sucscint casting, talent discovery and appropriate utilization of capabilities, impeccable cinematography, and general attention to details stand this movie out. It means Nigerian movie industry has better days ahead inspite of tendentious mediocrity that has watered down on its quality rating globally. The cast and crew will go places given half the opportunities available to Hollywood and Bollywood. Keep it up guyz! More greese to your elbow. Will really like to meet Director Tunde Olaoye. The guy is freaking deep. Nollywood needs his golden touch. He's a newcomer, but he's bold and thorough. Knowlegeable and detailed.

phenomenal film, nuanced script, with outstanding acting and sensitive portrayals. Frankly, I am really impressed. Reviewers who do not speak yoruba might miss some of this great film since the richness of the dialogue cannot be fully captured in the sub-titles (which are still better than most). This edge of seat drama has enough intelligent suspense and romance to keep audiences asking for me. I know I want more from this director and writer.

I like the quality of production and the story line. The actors were very natural. It took a while to really get to like the movie in the beginning but you soon get drawn into the story line and the great acting.

when i was back home in naija, i was a film editor for many years and am still in it, so i know what am talking about, in this field, iwalewa is one of the best movies so far, we watched the movie here in united states and we can't wait for another beautiful production from your cast and production crew, please ignore whatever distraction and move guys......

Temi, I think you sound somewhat primitive. This is simply a movie. Everyone has the prerogative to express his or her feelings and award any star to any movie. It is a matter of individual preferences.

Something worth the time. Well sctructured, showed mere simplicity and a pintch of classical theater. Could have been better in some ways but still it got a pass mark. Well done, keep it up and make more use of our growing talents.

I love the movie so much and i even bought another one for my collections.Kabirat more grease to your elbow.I will love to meet you one day,keep it up.Please i would love to see you in more movies.This movie is awesome,i can't even say how many times i have watched it.zeze,you need to go and pray to God to show you how to see good stuff in your life.its seems to me your blind.

its not an issue of expressing one's opinion..its more like a question of maturity...zeze really did not have to give out the story line coz that is selfish...of course its fine not to like a movie...but to give away the story line for a suspense movie is unfair...if it were drama then that is aii but he knows the movie was meant to be suspense...for me i lost interest when i saw the first scene coz i already knew the storyline

The movie is quite interesting and the actors did a very good job. It's quite refreshing to see a movie that has a good story line and to see actors that you don't normally see in every movie you watch do an excellent job.
Everybody deserves to express his/her opinion. Really there is no need for insults and please be more tolerant of people. Seriously we all can't like the same movie. The best critically acclaimed movie still has people who think it is a bunch of crap.

What's up with the 5 stars given to this movie? I think it was a "poor use of time" watching this movie. About 98.5% of the time, the movie didn't make any sense until the very end...
Guys, this movie is not even worth a star. If there was anything less that one star, I would have awarded it.

zeze or wateva u call urself, first off do me a favour and look in the dictionary 4 the word review...english is cleary ur second language right..second of all, u didnt have to give the movie away like that...do u know how many viewers u have discouraged ...most times we neva like the movies we watch but we are mature enuff not to allow frustration make us give away the story line...u r a childish and selfish person indeed and shud be banned from this website...anyways..this was an excellent movie...i guess zeze is only dissapointed coz there was no juju...too bad honey this is freaking 2006..f u want to see juju go and watch nollywood movies produced in the 90s
