It is almost 4am in the morning and I just got finished watching part 2 of this movie. In all honesty part 1 is a little tedious to get through but if you stick it out it all becomes extremely cohesive by the secound part. I am not Nigerian but I must tell you this movie is one of the best most unpredictible, believable and emotional Nigerian movies I've watched thus far. I was definitely worth my money. These movies have allowed me to see the Nigeria as well as other African countries in a way not portrayed by the media. I get to people of color who are successful, honest and family oriented. Notwithstanding I am not naive and I know that crime, poverty and social discrimination exist, but in all fairness every country has its share so greetings to all hardworking, honest and sincere Africans.

Slightly incoherent! lacks clarity. 30 minutes into the movie, i'm still wondering what the heck is going on. I really would not recommended it personally.

Skip past the name and you will be indeed entertained with this memorable gem (part 1 and 2). The director did an impressive job of bringing together an excellent cast and a strong story. But you can see the intelligence in the director’s choices- she emphasizes emotional drama and a suspenseful storyline in place of noisy melodrama. A couple with secrets they find hard to divulge travel a journey of love and discovery; a mother whose role in her son’s life is truly meaningful is juxtaposed against those who miss that maternal role: the story avoids cliché and creates human characters who allow the audience to try to understand why decisions can seem unavoidable, can be wrong, regretted, unexplainable, unforgivable and yet forgivable at the same time. There seems to be a subtle goal here, a gentle social message about mistakes, forgiveness and moving on but it is wrapped in compelling acting and a good mixture of realism and idealism. It was good to see Desmond Elliot depart from some of his shallow “fine face” only roles and take on a role that showed his ability for matured acting. There were of course, quite a few technical flaws (overwhelming music in some scenes etc) but in all- worth watching.
