Guy and girl from separate traumatic and tragic childhood experiences of abusive parents. The convergence of life's pathways for a twosome seemingly ill fated for marriage. Poorly executed initially, the film gathers momentum as Emeka Ike and Ini Edo express fears, anxieties and budding love. The tales of the past are not resolved, but it opens up struggles of believing again in love in a somewhat sweet way. My conclusion? The film is an unpolished gem that would have shone in the hands of directors like Imasuen, but still offers some thoughtful entertainment.
