The tragic end of Suliat(Jenifa) in the comedy of Jenifa is a lesson for all and sundry. However, life in Ayetoro was not the same in Lagos. Jenifa became a big girl in deed and really got to belong, at the very end the protagonist became the tragic heroin, as she lost all and joined nothing.

Well..4 stars coz it actually shows how far people go in order to "belong" and it's got abit of comedy..I watched the part 2 but it kept going on and on. But d main point is we need to know how to take our stand in life and be ready to face the consequences of our life of "having fun"..

erm... did i miss something... some scenes in the trailer never come up, and they looked like real sweet scenes too... anyway, this is a great movie, and i sure hope the 2nd part is on it's way!!! 5/5!!!

It started off very funny, full of energy and pure joke...Funke Akindele is absolutely fantastic as Jenifa and hats off man she is great...but what the F*CK?!....what is going on with the ending....I mean I can now understand why some people said that they were dis-appointed...I was dis-appointed and for that reason it gets 3 stars...however I will recommend it as a must watch as there are bits in the movie that will leave you in stiches!...I will watch part 2 just to see how it all ends....not b'cos im all excited about it!

wow!someone rated this movie 1? be realistic! okay it all depends on hos/her level of sense of humour n if u understood any of jokes at all.for all u care it could v meant a display of stupidity, but to me and many others it was totally the bomb!

Quite funny and a showcase of Funke's boundless talent, hopefully the second part will keep the momentum and not waste time trying to fill disk space to justify the need for a second part. Still one to watch though

Once again, funke akindele has shown her chops in this movie about a village girl trying to prove her worth as a UniLag 'chic'. I have always preferred her in comedic roles because her timing and willingness to go all out for a role is outstanding. i was laughing from the very beginning scene of her walking into the campus in the pajamas and high heeled boots. I continued laughing as she tried to delocalize her accent and through her beauty treatment. I was hoping the movie would be about her showing the UNIlag girls how to have confidence in things other than clothes...as the girl who helped so many girls get to Unilag shouldnt she have been victorious in the end? but perhaps that will come through in part 2? izogn please hurry and release part 2! A lot was left unanswered in part 1.

well every aspect of this movie was well thought through pardon me but i just can't glue the begining and the very end together, i thought the movie was about a local champion coming to the city so give me what i couldn't find here well am not going to judge this movie yet i'll wait for part 2, but every actors and actreses well done am sorry i can't put the end of the movies with the end of the movie
