I was impressed with the story line of this movie until the end of part 2. Come on Nollywood why a part 3 if there is even a part 3. It just seems like the writters dont pay attention to what they are doing. First of all why was Valerie's mom in the movie. The woman had a very distracting lisp and I could hardly understand her. Why not cast a better actress for such a distinguished role. Second of all how far with the english names. Nollywood no be by force o abeg. I got sick of hearing Valeries name distorted and Valentine was a hoot. Come on it would have been easier to just call him Val since most of the actors and actresses had difficulty with his name.
I dont think Valerie's role was far fetched. Maybe for Naija but in the states, some women can be crazy and deranged. The things people will do in the name of love will blow your mind. I didnt feel sorry for Valentines character my motto is "there are consequences for everything you do good or bad". He was a pig and he deserved what he got. Honestly do most Niaja men cheat? I'm just curious. I'll say if you are looking for an entertaining movie then you'v come to the right place. My advice is to take it for what it is and dont expect anything extraordinary.

Interesting part 2 ! However, some elements in the storyline is deluding to innocent, trust worthy women like valerie without the possesiveness and obsessive .character .. Its a lesson to learn that the valentines in this world are not to be trusted nor given regard, not even giving them a chance . It pays to be humble and be a no nonsense . i dont know why valerie moved in to stay with valentine in the first place , that was a wrong move but I liked the fact that she was intrusive. Commonnn ! where is pt 3 then ? Couldnt end like that !

Hahaha, this movie is halarious. I can't stop laughing. How can one be so possessive? It doesn't work like that. Anyway, I think part 2 was much better than part 1, with a little more drama, and laughter. I hope part 3 is gonna be better bcos its a good movie. I mean the plot was good, thou not so good in part 1. The story of Geniviv, hating men and having all that attitude is just too unrealistic, and the acting didn't make it seem cool either. But part 2 was interesting and fun to watch.

lollllllll...naija view ur comments r so funny yet meaningful...u r rite...some scenes in th emovie needs to be explained...like for instance did she have a bad past with men to make her like that?....anoda thing is abt the english names...it seems like none of the guys cud even speak english...lol...valerie was pronounced as "valaary" or "velari"...like come on...it is not by force to use english names abeg....the guys they used to me were just plain RAZZ...did anyone notice the stripped pants worn by one the actors...that is a crazy fashion blonda...like i said b4 they did dress well...

Folks, your comments have been more scintillating than the film despite great acting by Mercy Johnson and Genevieve. The film bravely ventures into an uncertain psychoanalysis of love, trust, betrayal and obsession when a tough maiden falls for a man rightly described by viewers as a jerk. It both succeeds and fails. Some nicely choreographed scenes remain inconclusive and unexplained after two parts such as the funeral, the mystery of Valerie’s relationship with her mom, her distrust of men, sudden attraction to Val and growing obsessive pattern. Good acting yet one finds the main characters remain shallow and one dimensional with a puerile exploration of their feelings and behavior. One can forgive flaws such as the fact that Valerie’s mom talks with a distracting lisp, or the aggravating western names mania in Nigerian films (no wonder poor Uche Jumbo kept referring to Valen-Time) or the typical Nollywood partying scene with girls dancing like hired sex workers high on drugs, but it is a real shame Valerie’s character was not given more depth and continuity. Otherwise, very good entertainment.

I understand the guy is a jerk but seriously no guy in his right mind will want to be with that kind of girl. She's obsessive, compulsive, possessive, and all the sives.
The friends were wrong too. They should have told her he had a fiancee.
I feel really bad for her though, but she's gat to change and take things easy. Will like to see the part 3.

I enjoyed the story, however I am very upset at the fact that these movies even have to have a part 1,2,3, infinity. They need to learn how to condense these stories into 1 movie and stop being greedy trying to make as much money as possible by stretching the story so long that you get bored or forget about it.
Valerie was tough before and I actually liked her tough side, she did not let guys treat her like rubbish. I hope she gets that tough edge back. You see what happens when you let your guard down ladies, men take advantage and walk all over you. I can't believe he took her virginity knowing that he did not want to be with her, so heartless. Its time women flipped the switch and showed men what we are capable of.

First of all, I do not comment about other people's comments but since aseye asked a question then we can all answer. Please activate your brain, how could Valerie have known that the guy was a jerk???? Does she have spiritual eyes and mind? Secondly we always fall for the jerks because they know how put out the works. I can count how many girls I know to have fallen in this trap including yours truly, moi. My own be say, I married the guy before he could say "Jack" We are still married with plenty children. Why to you think the divorce rate is climbing the hills here in America? Women just want to be treated like princesses, unfortunately few good men know the skills, the bad one have it all and we foolishly fall for them. We fall over and over and over again. ha ha ha. Very good entertainment.

Aseye, you too "need to read and expand your mind". In fact, you need it more than any of us. In case you don't know, when someone you're supposed to trust hurts you deeply, it is very easy to become hard like Valerie was. That feeling of self defense usually sets a trap for the person in that their good judgement becomes clouded. As a result, if not careful, the person can end up with the same useless jerk who is the epitome of what they'd fought so hard to hate and avoid. But you wouldn't know that because you don't know what it feels like. Pray that you don't. Right on Genevieve! I loove this movie- it really made me think about my own life and experiences. Can't wait to see part 3.

Very nice movie the storyline was amazing the movie is different from other movies, it one of best movie i have seen this year it great loved every part of the movie, and i find the movie quite emontional am so happy to see Genevieve Nnaji, back in nollywood she has always been my favourite actress she is looking good loved her body shape. Great acting form the cast, the ending could have been better though but am sure there is a part 3 to this wounderful movie, and am also sure that the part 3 would come out with a different title, however i can't wait to watch part 3.
