a tough call. A film with highs and lows. The concept is intriguing- a pampered young man interested in rural development and willing to pursue his dreams to the dismay of his wealthy parents. But the story creates some realism- as his dreams run into some typical hormone-driven obstacles. Lessons were learned all round. Realistic village scenes etc. But the execution is somewhat scrappy and the actors not as competent as one would have wished. In the hands of accomplished actors, this might have been outstanding for its concept and the theme of reconciliation. Neither a phenomenal nor disastrous film. I think it is worth the watch for its "call back" to let the young dream and pursue worthwhile goals.
