The story is about a village called Ajido. There was a controversy about who to become King in the village, the Chiefs of Ajido consulted the Oracle for confirmation of whom to become the next king of Ajido among Adegoroye, Gbadegesin and Adeniyi. The Oracle picked Adeniyi but Gbadegisin one of the aspirants was dissastisfied with the Oracle's decision. He decided to fight back on the villagers by inviting a man called Fadeyi who was on exile to come to his rescue. There was disorder and pandemonium in the entire village on the coronation day Fadeyi and his guards forcefully ran away with the Staff of authority, causing one problem or the other. The chiefs later decided to remove Adeniyi on the throne for Gbadegesin because of further destruction until the intervention of a powerful woman who went and fought Fadeyi and his guards before retrieving the Staff of authority from them. Finally, peace returned to the Village of Ajido after the enemy Fadeyi has been over-powered, and the staff of authority returned to the village.
