Every immigrant parent's nightmare: a son being led down the wrong path by people he's hanging around with. 17 year-old Mohamed is the only child of Sekou, a traditional Muslim man, and Myriam, a westernized Muslim woman.
Having been in America longer than any member of his family, Sekou is well-aware of the dangers the American culture poses to a recently arrived African teenager. His warnings to Mohammed to stay out of trouble go unheeded, and Mohammed continues to hang around with 22 year-old "E", a virtual black sheep and outcast.
Through E's mentoring, Mohammed is well on his way to becoming a holy terror in the Harlem community they both reside in. Will Mohammed ever hear his father's words and return to the path of righteousness, or will the youth be a tragic victim of a series of events he and E, unwittingly, set into motion?
