With a different set of cast - except Zack and his father from the first part, this is a continuation of the danger of HIV/AIDS message in story from part one. The basic message and concept of this drama is that a husband and wife to be should test themselves to know their HIV/AIDS status. For its message, I am giving this drama [parts1 and 2 put together 87 percent out of 100; and for cinematographic unprofessionalism and multiple parts greed - based on Izogn rating, I'm giving it 2 stars out of five.

Honestly, I can now conclude this 21st century that it is pure greed that drives these Nollywood producers to continue this their unprofessional habit of multiple parts/episodes as in television series - because how can one explain that the first part of this drama is 45 minutes and this second part 37 minutes - all totalling 122 minutes - one hour and 22 minutes. So, i don't understand why it should not have been produced as one film of 122 minutes without spliting it.

Well, I thank GOD that I am a monthly Unlimited Izogn Movies Member; otherwise, how can one be paying variously for these productions in all these tiny bits and pieces multiple parts and episodes they split them into??

Simply put, Nollywood developed in the early 90's on Video Home System [VHS] after cash-strapped Nigerian television stations stopped producing multiple drama series with episodes:

So, as it stands, this 21st century, judging from this "A Date With Destiny" production, with all the commendable high level of creativity and good talent in Nollywood plus technological advancement in the world of today, out of greed, they are still unable to break out of that multiple parts/episodes television drama mentality.

We'll continue to watch Nollywood because we love these Nigerian productions for their contribution to humankind's soulful enrichment in humane entertainment; and importantly for the inspiring good lessons they teach all of us on this challenging journey called life:

BUT, truly and objectively, if Nollywood really wants to take their game to the next professional reality of internationally competitive level and start making movies in all cinematographic dimensions, then, they must break out of their multiple parts/episodes television drama mentality.

Notably, with its important HIV/AIDS message, this production would be a good partnership sell to the Geneva: Switzerland headquartered World Health Organization [WHO] and UNAIDS: The Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS. But they would need to re-edit it professionally and make it into a single coherent film - instead of greedily splitting it in two as it is.

In conclusion, let me thank the writer, producer, director, cast and all those involved for bringing us this "A Date With Destiny" drama with all of its crucial and relevant message on the danger of HIV/AIDS.
